Then an explanation of chiropractic and how it relates to you and your problem is given as well as an explanation of how you might feel after the treatment.
Your blood pressure will be taken.
Then a neurological and orthopaedic assessment is done.
The findings are explained to you and your consent to treat is gained. If appropriate a treatment then takes place .(30 mins)
You will be told how to look after yourself until the next treatment and a leaflet will be given to you to reinforce the advice.

* Your work and /or hobbies
* How well you follow the aftercare advice
How will I feell afterward?

There may be some emotional reaction. Pain may increase for a time before declining or it may go instantly or it may not change until the next treatment.
Everyone reacts differently but you can help yourself by:

* Resting as much as possible
* Avoiding one- sided activities such as golf,or hoovering and ironing
* Keeping mobile…gently
* Eating a simple diet and avoiding caffeine and alcohol
